APPLICATION: WORKS WITH SAVAGE 21 RTR, 25 RTR, & 25 SS

This is the updated HPI Hex Wheel Hub Set found on newer Savage trucks. This updated hub set has ribs on the face of the wheel hubs that are designed to grip the wheel better and help prevent the wheels from stripping out as easily. This is especially important on fast Savage trucks with high horsepower engines! This hub set also comes with new hub pins (even a couple extra) and a fresh set of wheel nuts. Great deal for all that you get!

Check the hubs on your Savage truck. If your hubs do not have the ribs, then you may want to consider upgrading to this low cost updated hub set.

RECOMMENDATION: As extra insurance against stripping out the hexes in your wheels, put a drop of blue (removeable) loc-tite thread locker on each axle before snugly tightening down each wheel nut. This should help securely hold the wheels against the hubs. Wheel nuts that loosen (even very slightly) can increase the risk of stripping out the wheels. Factory wheel nuts are nyloc type with a plastic insert to help prevent loosening, but these wear out after repeated on/off cycles. All that is needed for extra security is a tiny drop of removeable thread lock - not too much.
