This HPI Savage 3 Speed Transmission is probably the single most exciting upgrade available for the Savage truck! AVAILABILITY UPDATE 03/16/05: The HPI Savage 3 speed transmission is supposed to be released some time in March. As soon as we receive a shipment, we will update our internet store and make it available for customers to order. HPI plans to offer 2 options for this. The first is a 3 speed conversion kit (HPI 87220) which requires the user to disassemble and install the 3 speed parts into their existing Savage transmission. The other option is an assembled 3 speed transmission (HPI 87218) that will be a more convenient, more expensive choice.
