APPLICATION: WORKS WITH SAVAGE 21 RTR, 25 RTR, & 25 SS

Get rid of that restrictive stock SAVAGE air filter and add this MOTORSAVER filter made exclusively for the HPI Savage with a special rib on the filter base that interlocks in the groove on the Savage carb. This special interlocking ring works on either the Savage 21BB or S-25 engines.

The stock air filter only has a small filtering surface which can quickly plug up and cause major restriction to air flow (and power). The HPI/MOTORSAVER filter has huge, open filtering surfaces all around the outside and even on the end. It also comes with a large pre-filter to help trap harmful dirt and debris before it even reaches in the inner 2 filtering stages! This filter can support very high air flow rates (and power) potential. Not only is this filter capable of flowing LOTS of air and supporting lots of power, but its efficient 3 stage filtering design also offer EXCELLENT protection for your expensive engine.

This air filter comes with an elbow that is designed to only fit the 15mm OD carburetors found on the Savage 21BB & S-25 engines. Be sure to get the MSBS1516 filter adapter/elbow kit if you want to use this filter on other carburetors.

IMPROVED FEATURE: This HPI Savage/Motorsaver filter kit has been updated with a new rubber elbow that is now longer and re-positions the filter within the protection of the Savage roll bar. The elbow seen in the picture is of the original, shorter design. The new longer elbow also has an angle closer to 60 degrees and puts the filter in a position that provides much better protection in the event of a roll over or crash. Now there should be less risk of this filter getting knocked off or damaged in a crash. Nice improvement!
