This is the GPM Racing Billet Aluminum Alloy Brake Hub. This replaces the stock plastic piece. The plastic hub has been known to melt, deform, and interfere with proper braking. This billet aluminum hub offers superior strength, resistance to heat, and looks much better! This is a lightweight upgrade brake hub that is good for use with the stock fiber brake disc or other fiber/graphite type brake discs.

TIP: When replacing your stock plastic brake hub, remove the steel center insert and transfer that over to this aluminum hub. Pay attention to the way the steel insert is machined. It has a couple flats milled on the side of it. There is only one way that it can fit into the brake hub properly. Youll know it is positioned properly, because the steel insert will pop in all the way and be flush with the end of the hub. REMEMBER TO USE BLUE THREAD LOCKER (LOC-TITE) ON THE RETAINING PIN/SET SCREW!
